Cottonwood, population 1000, is one of the ol’ farming communities on the Camas Prairie. Food and full automotive services are available as well as lodging. At an elevation of 4273, it serves as a gateway to the Salmon River to the south with its great fishing and whitewater activities. Boaters use Cottonwood as a last minute stop to do what they need to do!! Cottonwood Butte has a great little ski hill.
